top RESEARCH INTERESTS

As a PhD student of the Microarctic project, my main target is to extend the knowledge on microbial communities from the Arctic environments with a particular focus on the snow. My first approach will be to characterize the seasonal changes affecting these communities and how their dynamics is influenced by the environment. To get a deeper understanding of these dynamics, I will study the bacterial interactions networks and how these interactions can structure the bacterial communities. These interactions can be influenced by environmental factors (nutrients abundance, temperature,…) so I will investigate the influence of the environment on the bacterial interactions networks to identify the main factors driving the dynamics of the bacterial interactions in the snow.
