Research Interests
My main research interest is in microbial ecology. During my Ph.D., I worked on marine microbial ecology, specifically on the description of viral communities using molecular and metagenomic approaches. Currently, I am working on the ecology of soil viruses, and more specifically on the development of virus-mediated biological inhibition of nitrification to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions from cultivated soils.
