Research Interests

My main research interests are in soil microbial ecology. My PhD work is focused on investigating the diversity and distribution of fungal viruses, particularly those infecting arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi, and determining the consequences of host-virus interactions on ecosystem functions, such as nitrogen cycling.
